No, it’s not really pronounced differently. No, I’m not sure why my mother spelled it like that. Yes, it’s true that some restaurant kiosks don’t accept my real name due to the profanity in the middle. *Cough* Time Hortons. 

I’m the one-girl show behind Serene Home Planning.

I’m a solo mom to 3.5 kids with a passion for decluttering and organizing. No, really. When my mom would be shopping as a child, I loved to organize shelves that customers had messed up. Rearranging my bedroom was the ultimate ‘new room, new me’ high then, and still is now. 

A bit more about me:

• Morning coffee is a necessity. 
• I was diagnosed with ADHD in my late 30s. I’m a good candidate for Autism as well. 
• Music is life and you’ll often find me listening to Taylor Swift, Def Leppard, Kendrick Lamar, Luke Combs or Ella Langley most recently.  
• Huge fan of true crime and stand-up comedy.
•  I do my best thinking while swinging at a playground. 
• Planners, pens, stickers & stationery of all kind are my happy place. 
• I have a porch goose named Goosetrude. I call her Trudy or Goosey.
